The Course
We start and finish our 5k at the brewery and run along the beautiful Bear Creek Greenbelt. In compliance with CDC, State, and County guidelines we will be sending runners out in waves of 10 every 30 minutes. Choose your start time when you sign up.
Please make sure to follow proper social distancing guidelines while on the trail. Face coverings will be required while at our check in tent and in the brewery.
Event Day Schedule
1. Check in and head to the starting line no more than 10 minutes before your start time
2. Start your run with 9 of your newfound social distance buddies
3. Grab your swag and beer
4. Get your photo taken for our socially distant costume contest
5. If there is room, feel free to hang out for another brew or two!
6. When you get home make sure to hop onto our Facebook page and vote for your favorite costume. Winners will have prizes shipped to them.
Other Important Event Info:
OUR GOAL is to have this event in person! If guidance from the CDC, state, or county health groups does not allow for in person events on this day this event (and all existing registrations) will go virtual. Packet pick up would still be on site at LandLocked Ales but there will no longer be a manned course. Participants can choose to run where they please. A few suggested run routes will be available. There will be a number of email and Facebook announcements if this takes place.
The course will be marked and maps will be available at registration. To limit person to person contact, there will be limited volunteers along the route.
There will not be a water station on the course - to reduce contact. We will have water bottles at check-in if you want to grab one before you run.
Dogs ARE allowed
Make sure to bring your ID, extra cash for additional brews, water if you need it on the course and apparel for any weather
We've had some questions about the weather and here is all we can say: WE LIVE IN COLORADO PEOPLE! Predicting the weather here is just about as accurate as predicting the next lotto winner. Yes, it may be 80 degrees one day and snowing the next but that's what you gotta love about this state. The brew run is on sunshine, rain or snow!
Curious about what safety precautions we are taking? Read more here: https://www.rockymountainbrewruns.com/covid19
We can use a handful of volunteers!
If a friend or family member wants to come along but doesn't want to run or walk and can help out we can offer them a free brew, pint glass and a good time!
Fill our our volunteer form and we will be in touch soon!
